    An APC can have problems, unfortunately. If the diluting water is hard, for instance, you can find that you get some sediment. Won't happen to all. Diluting with DI water helps but one generally should think to make a little bit at a time, storing something diluted for an extended period is more likely to cause issues.

    I repurposed some old gallon jugs...and just made sure I labeled them well

    And what's your strategy for pouring from the gallon jug into your spray bottles?

    I've been using a funnel but notice that I still get a bit of spillage.

    Get a pump spray that attaches to the top of the gallon jugs then pump it into a spray bottle. Google “Gallon Jug Pump” and pick your poison.

    I usually just used distilled and then keep them in the jug they came in.
