    Question Advice(Long Post)

Hello. This may be my first post, but I've been on the Autogeek Forum's for quite a while. I currently own a 2014 Acura MDX in Crystal Black Pearl. I previously owned a 2009 Acura MDX in Silver, so I've been using all my products from that one. I've been using the following products...

    Interior:

    Exterior Washing:

    Exterior Detailing:

    • Pinnacle Ultra Poly Clay
    • Wolfgang Total Swirl Remover 3.0
    • Wolfgang Finishing Glaze 3.0
    • Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealant 3.0

All of this has been used via GG 6 DA Polisher

    • 1Z Einszett Rubber Care Stick Gummi Pflege for rubber seals

    Tires:

All microfibers are purchased via Autogeek and were purchased separately or came with a kit.

For the most part I've got the basics covered, but now I'm looking into specific areas and go into a little bit more detail.

For starters, my bottle of Wolfgang Paint Sealant has gone bad. Not sure what happened, but regardless of how much I shake it, it comes out extremely runny like water. With that being said, I am now looking for a replacement paint sealant. Menzerna makes a lot of good products...do they have something that could be a replacement for my WG Sealant?

Next up, I am looking for a treatment for the glass. A polish, or kit that would protect and keep up the clarity. It is a new vehicle so it shouldn't require too much work. I've been looking at the Diamondite® Glasswork System Kit for Machine Application.
Is this overkill, or is there another method I should go with?

I am also looking for an exterior plastic trim protectant. I live in Manitoba and our winters are very cold and harsh. The vehicle as of now lives outside 24/7. I have looked at many different products but am unsure of which to go with.

Finally, for the wheels. Once again with our winters being harsh, I would like something to protect my wheels. A coating perhaps?

I apologize for this being a long post, but I am limited on time at the moment as work is extremely busy. I will be having some free time coming up, but would like to figure all this out before fall sets in.

Any questions, I can answer so if you require a bit more information please ask.

Thank you for taking the time to read!

And I meant coatings for wheels, not sealants...

Oh, and for protecting glass I typically use CarPro Reload, HydrO2, or FlyBy30.

I promise the WGDGPS did not go bad

It is ridiculous how much you have to shake it sometimes

It will sound watery in the bottle as you are shaking, eventually the sound will suddenly stop and it is back to its original consistency

Then transfer it into several smaller bottles, which for me, makes it easier to shake & revive

The stuff is too good to let the shaking stop you

    For trim...CarPro DLUX
    Looks great
Lasts a year on textured plastic
    Very durable on wheels
    Makes cleaning much easier

Thanks for the advice. I will be ordering these:

    • CQuartz DLux Plastic & Wheel Coating
    • CarPro FlyBy30 Windshield & Glass Coating Kit

For the Glass, I have a GG 6" polisher. Which pads should I order for this? Do I need the Glass Leveling Disc's as well as the Glass Cutting Pad? Also in regards to both products, how far does one bottle go?

Thanks, I will give that a try. It's been sitting(inside the house) since last fall so I wasn't sure if it was because it expired or not.

I really like the 1Z products too. Their plastic protectant works great too. But on the exterior it can run after washing. Dlux is great, but practice applying it before you put it on your car, application can be messy. Give a very glossy finish, may not be the look you want for plastic trim.
