Cquartz (and other "permanent" coatings) dust while curing
Hi Everyone,
Im looking into applying a "permanent" paint coating prior to winter for some added protection. Im considering Cquartz or some Opticoat 2.0 if I can find some some. I just have a general question on these types of coatings. I know they require curing time, how much do I have to worry about dust while curing? I can park my car in my garage but it seems to get dusty overnight even though I've hosed it down int here. Not a ton of dust, usually after two weeks worth I wash the car but I wasn't sure how this would interfere with a paint coating's curing. Will the dust get imbedded? Any info/experience is appreciated.
Thanks!

These coatings are too thin and set up too quickly to collect any dust. Unless you have a real bad high spot (that will be sticky), but if you have that you have more problems than just dust.

When I apply either CQF, AC or OG, I flash cure it with compressed air. No worries.

Never had a problem ever if your applying it the right way.

I have cQuartz DLux on my Jeep's wheel wells. Dust wasn't an issue when I applied it. It dried fairly quickly.
