I guess it's hard for them to do that in English when they are a Korean company.

What are they talking about here.
Is it something that's: gleaming, glossy, and/or lustrous; an outdoor hockey pick-up game; or climbing up a tree?
"QUARTZ SPARKLE contains 75%
pure quartz based in nano-technology,
The cured QUARTZ SPARKLE is as tough and rigid.
Inorgnaic coat will help you to maintain your car clean,
shinny, and scratch resistant".
And they want people to gush; and, then rush right over and buy their products?
Good Grief!!

Cliffs: Asia, haha
you'd be amazed - at SEMA, where companies from Asia are spending tens of thousands of dollars to organize everything...they make huge banners and literature and so much of it is littered with errors. blatant errors, too. i don't get it. i'm saying even things like brand taglines and such are incorrect!
someone mentioned production costs as OPT stuff is 100% USA made...
i agree. he's making the stuff in Memphis. he literally does the entire R&D process, packaging, everything in the US. i always thought he was underpriced for the quality of product he was delivering to the market. it's a shame that there has been so much furor over this on the internet but it is what it is. i think it's just a lot of noise over something that we'll forget about pretty soon...especially as reviews for Gloss-Coat start invading the forum.
i feel like he pioneered the whole coating thing, especially on the consumer side, and i'll support that guy until the end because his product line rocks and he's a dude of the utmost integrity. he's awesome. if you can't tell by a high percentage of my posts on this forum...i can't praise the line enough for how much it has made life easier for me re: car care.
i hope it all works out.

Why?
What specifically should not have been shared with the hobbyists?
All of the information I have seen was already available or would have become available soon after the launch
Are you referring to the prices authorized installers pay for Opti-Coat Pro? That was already widely known as is the suggested retail price to the consumer

I'm guess that the memo posted by Vargas was in a NDA.

The map price is not suppose to know by the consumer at all and there not suppose to know what we pay for OCP. This information was not meant to be posted on this forum or any kind of public forum.

What all other coating companies love is how OC is shoved in with other coatings. OC is a clear coat, not a nano sealant (aka coating). That is why OC will outlast the other ones.

It's not a silca or siloxane or PHPS coating but Opticoat is still a coating - not extra clear (try polishing it and see how it lasts vs clearcoat)

Not sure I understand what you are saying, but OC IS a clear coat. The other "coatings" are not clear coats. That is why the around 2 year durability.
