I have a similar MF covered sponge. It gets black after half the roof from all the dirt. But the sponge has no dirt when i checked, just black from “dirt stain”.

Do you wash yours after every rinseless session?

I love the car concept of a grout sponge but in practice they don't work well for washing a car. A super plush towel or mitt enable you to get in all the cracks and crevices. Those left uncleaned look really bad. If fact bad looking trim makes a car look older than trashed paint.

When I first started doing RW's I used the Aqua sponge all the time with no issues but a mf wash mitt with the little fingers all over the place is also a fine choice.

Have you tried the Aqua sponge?

    Thanks!

I am curious about sponges. Where does the dirt go when using aqua sponge? How do you clean your aqua sponge after doing a RW?

I know this is going to sound odd and funny but I take mine in the shower with me and just use regular hair shampoo lightly massaging it into the pores and just letting it soak up more water and then just keep stepping out of the shower until all the soap and any debris comes out.

    Very efficient!

While using that sponge for RW, does it absorb dirt from the car then releases them in the rinse bucket?

Did you see dirt in your drying towel? That is the common complaint i see when using BRS.

Yes it does but of course I use the grid card and squeeze it a couple times to make sure I get everything out.
