    My first purchase

Hello everyone, I've been a long time lurker on autogeek and I'm getting ready to make my first big purchase. I'm going to be picking up some products to keep my daily driver in tip top shape. My daily driver is a 2011 tuxedo black f150 and its showing some light swirls and light watermarks, I'm thinking about going with the Wolfgang FLEX XC3401 Ultimate Polishing Kit. I have some microfiber towels I had purchased at walmart, I'm unsure of there quality so if theres anytying else I need to pick up such as extra pads or higher quality towels please chime in. Thanks for any help

I would pick up some higher quality towels something like the waterless wash ones or the chinchillas, even though I was a little disappointed with them last time I bought some, there still a good towel

thanks for the reply, right now I use meguiars gold class wash along with their ultimate line of quick detailer and quick wax. I keep a fresh coat of collinite 845 wax on the truck. My wash mitt was also purchased at walmart so I should probably look to replace it as well

I was also thinking about adding the The CarPro Paint Decontamination Kit which includes a spray and paste iron x along with tar x. I'm just wanting to make sure I get everything that is needed the first time around to do a good satisfactory job

    Re: My first purchase

    I'd get:

    1. Paint cleansing soap (doesn't HAVE to be paint specific for cleansing, I use CG Citrus Wash)

    2. The carpro kit or at least Iron X

    3. Medium grade clay and lube

    4. Your flex kit

    5. Sealant, a must for a DD (I've only used Sonax Net Shield)

I would get some better MF towels for polishes/waxing/quick detailing as recommended.
