Has anyone been able to do this. I saw it on YouTube. You can have your information screen or navigation screen show what's on your phone. Looks pretty cool. You would have to look at 2 screens. You still use the phone

this is only on certain new vehicles that apply to be part of the apple ecosystem, most 2015 models will have this available.

It's scary enough looking at one screen while driving - but, now they have it so you can look at two?

I would really like it if someone could make a good code reader (ECM, GEM, SRS, ABS) / programmer for BMW via IPad. But, it doesn't seem like any are out there that can do all of these tasks reliably for my vehicle.

I have this. It was a great purchase. I got mine through the company "iVic" made for Toyota and Lexus (apple and android)

Ivic does not use your phone screen (my phone is in my glove box actually... ) The touchscreen navigation acts exactly like your phone.

It would be cool to use my s3 for its google maps and use that for navigation. Theres an aftermarket company for navigation system Autocardvdgps. But it got mixed reviews

I used an app called Tablettalk (or something like that) and hooked my phone up to my tablet through Bluetooth for data and the app. This way I had a 7" screen for NAV, Google Music, text read outs and responses. Plus I could use my tablet as a dialer connected with all my contacts. Mounted it with a windshield mount.
