Ac line
This is probably a dumb question but I'm a driver not a fixer.. I got bored and started to polish stuff with mothers. The ac line sweats where the polish is. Can that become an issue

Re: Ac line
I don't see why, your ac line will sweat regardless of whats on it. I don't think there will be any adverse affects of polishing it.
Detailing is a way of life, not a hobby!

Re: Ac line
Polishing it shouldn't cause any issues, though it will be tough to keep it polished looking with the constant moisture sweat from running the AC.

Sweet, nice work on that ac line and as long as you didn't bend the line in anyway then you should be good to go

Re: Ac line
Not a dumb question at all. My only question would be...did it not sweat before? My ac line sweats all the time but in my climate it has no choice.
I wouldn't worry about it though. It's a function of very very cold refigerant running through a line that then is exposed to summer humidities. It'll squeeze the moisture out of the air when relative humidity values go up vs. the much drier winter months.
By the way, your engine looks freakin' spotless!!! Nice work.

Man, those Honda engine compartments never get any neater, do they? Looks like a bird's nest.

Re: Ac line
lol that's not quite my detailing skills at work, that's a brand new engine. but i do try to keep things clean, i'm pretty anal about it.. the reason i ask is because the area i didn't polish yet wasnt' sweating. the area closest to the fire wall. i havent' got there yet

Re: Ac line
Oh, that's probably because the condensation is beading where you polished it, and not beading where you haven't.
