Question Squeaky Clean then DG Enviroshield Coating

I did a clients car last April with SQC & DG's Ceramic Coating. He wants a 2nd coating applied.

Any issues or problems with using SQC to cleanup the panels then apply the DG coating a second time?

No problem. I'd apply by SC by hand, then coat away....
In my day we didn't have the Internet, iPods,iPads, or smart phones....but we had some really bad-azz cars.

I would consider a paint decontamination before the use of SQ to play it safe, this way its smooth as can be before you clean the surface with SC and seal it up again with DGNCC.

Thanks. Yes. Beginning of April 2014. So it will be about 3 months ago when I apply the 2nd coat.

Just wanted to know if squeaky-clean upset the first coat. Does not appear to be the case.

Any reason you didn't apply the 2nd coat 12 hrs after the first coat, just curious?

No, no issues doing the SC. It will not remove a coating. In fact, it's a good follow up to a previously applied coating to help it restore its properties.
I'd use a light clay first, then SC, then coat.

Time constraints on my part and tying up the customer's car. Plus the temps are much better now in NE.
