    Thick black film on tires

    Hi All,
I Have 35" tires on my truck and use OPT Opti-Bond tire Gel diluted 1:1 and applied with a spray gun. I cannot remove a coating of very sticky, black film from my tires. I have tried APC at max strength, Undiluted Simple Green and even Trix. I spray on and let soak and then scrub with soap and water with a stiff bristled brush. The bristles get covered in the film and just end up spreading the mess around. APC and Simple Green don't seem to do anything, TRIX seems to work but I don't want to waste a bottle of that on tires. Has anyone else experienced this or have any suggestions on what will cut this so I can get down to the natural tire again?
    Thank you,
    Shane

Just keep cleaning, clean the brush often. Should clear up after a few rounds.
    It's all in the details

Try Tuf Shine tire cleaner. I used it today for the first time and was amazed at all of the gunk that came off. It will take a few applications and will require scrubbing so be prepared for that.
