    Removing Hard Water Spots

Hello, parked my car in a friends driveway over night. When i went to leave my car was covered in water spots from the sprinkler that came on when I was sleeping. I went home to wash car and could not get them out. Can see them when sun hits the car at the right angle. They are driving me crazy while others say its no big deal.

Any recommendations for getting them off paint or products I can use besides having to use compound or polish the car?

    Thanks!

Here is a review I did on CarPro Spotless.

Past a water spot remover like this your next best option is a chemical paint cleaner or to polish IMO.

+1 for CarPro Spotless. Here are some results I got with the same scenario you experienced.

The results I got and I am very happy with. Also, it includes the process I used. Post #29.

    Re: Removing Hard Water Spots

You may go for spotless, I never used but review recommended above is really straight forwards.

Otherwise, you may get an AIO (know as cleaner waxes), and make a few passes with it to remove the waterspots.

Recently, I've dealt with this using Meg's MF Finishing Disk and their D301 Finishing wax, was enough to deal with recent water spots.

Do a test spot, and see how they are responding to your approach, trying the least aggressive approach first.

    Kind Regards.

Spotless has worked on every surface I have tried it on: paint, glass, chrome trim, and plastic trim.

Does the CarPro Spotless remove any sealants that are on the car? I have Infinite Diamond Shield by Garry Dean on it.
