New here. detailing questions
Hey all,
I am new as a member here but have been browsing and studying for quite some time!
I finally purchased a newer vehicle that has not been repainted / has good enough paint to maintain and keep in the best condition as possible! I recently purchased a 2012 F250 that is dark graphite grey! I absolutely love the color and when it is cleaned up it looks awesome!
The paint is in amazing condition looks like it just came off the lot. I know there is a lot of hidden things that need to be addressed, however there is no serious oxidation, swirls or scratches. I am looking to do my first COMPLETE detail on this vehicle and then maintain it so it is always looking great!
The first thing I will be doing before is removing the clear bra on the hood before it starts to get messed up here in sunny florida!
So my questions are.....??
My house is on a well should I take the vehicle somewhere else to wash that is not well water?
Is there particular polish/wax/sealant that you recommend for this color?
Is there a big difference between applying polish/wax/sealant by hand or by machine, I do own a DA.
I will try and post pics later on today or tomm! I would like to gather as much info as I can on products that I can order from here by Thursday so I can do a complete detail on sunday!!
Thanks guys!
