    Cleaning Microfiber towels

I apologize if this has already been covered (I searched I swear!), but I recently did my first 2 extensive details and am in need of clean microfiber towels for my next one. I heard NOT to use regular detergent to wash them? Any home made micro fiber cleaners to save a little $$ from buying one like DPs? Thanks in advance!

This should do it! I tried it out for myself but without the baking soda. Hope it helps

    Re: Cleaning Microfiber towels

Currently, I use microfiber detergent for my "nice" or "good" microfiber towels, but I use " free and clear" detergents, which you can find at any grocery store (it's made for people with allergies) for my general use microfibers.

Honestly, I know a lot of people who just use regular, free & clear detergent for all of their microfibers and have yet to have any negative effects. I always do an extra rinse to ensure it's free of any and all detergent. I also hang dry my super expensive ones and dry on low the others, but again, others just dry their towels (not in high though) and their towels are fine.

You can get as intense or basic as you want. Generally, don't dry on high, and follow the directions and you'll be fine. Happy detailing!

I made a switch to Blackfire's Microfiber Cleaner and did a review on it.....What a great cleaner and I've yet to find anything to equal it....

Great review! I'm going to give BF MF cleaner a try once I've used up my gallon of WG microfiber cleaner.

I like Blackfire too. I also want to try the Wolfgang. It is reportedly better and more concentrated.
