    when not enough time for curing?

    What do you guys do when you wanan do a great full job on a ride and don't have the time for sealants to cure? Meaning, the cars I am going to do, I will only have for an afternoon, enough to prep and get one coat of sealer on; but I wanna be able to do a few coats of sealer and carnuba topper?
    Just curious as how you handle this or actions taken?

    I guess it depends on whos ride it is. I did my moms car for mothers day and I wanted to use the Klasse twins on her Camry. I had her come over the next day and washed her car again then applied the SG. Was worth the extra effort. Plus you got to take care of mom!!

    well you can do the levels back to back (its not the end all to the world) or you can pull out in heat for awhile, take a break, and then pull back in (allow to cool) and go. The heat may help speed the curing process.

    Bluz, I hear ya about good old mom!
    Killr, so it won't melt the finish of the car and add sugar to the gas tank if I don't allow cure time?!!!!!! This opnes up a new realm to me!
    So, what other shortcuts are there?
    Is there any bad thign that can happen if I apply a sealer, do the sun thing, and then apply a carnuba? My only worry would eb that the sealer wouldn't last as long?

    the way most detailers clean their cars, the durability of the sealant is truly never seen to the end. And even if it likely reduced it by a little, its still protected better than prior to any wax or sealant or combo.

    My view has always been a combination of what killr said and trying to stay true to the manuf recommendations. Odds are I never leave a car alone long enough that any reduced durability will be a factor, however, I always try to keep the car protected as long as possible to cure per the manuf recs.

    In reality, when I seal with a "24 hour" sealant (UPP, EX-P, etc) I shoot for at least 18 hours. For "12 hour" sealants (WG!), 8 to 10 hours. Temp and humidity are factors.

    *** IMO, in additioin to the looks and ease of WG, the shorter cure time requirement of WG sealant is a gigantic plus. I can easily get 2x as many layers of WG applied in the same time it takes to apply 1 layer of a "24 hr" sealants.
