Yeah that's true no doubt. My car and wax is getting blasted by the pollen and rain just sitting on my paint.

What I'm afraid of is getting proper coverage and full coverage and having it bond right the first time. If the wax doesn't last, throw another on pretty cheaply.

I wash weekly anyway... Maybe that's because the dirt sits as you said... Going to a coating, that may not be the case

Re: Looking for a good coating, similar to PBL diamond coating

I still don't understand why you do not want to use PBL coating yet you want something similar?

I don't see the logic in this.

IMO the PBL is too new. I'd rather go with something else. I think the ultima is pretty similar, but leaning towards CQ UK. Other issue is that I don't have a garage, and the pollen is bad here now. Plus the summer heat will be here in no time. I guess I'll have to put it off until next spring

Do you have autumn where you live? Maybe a cooler period in the summer? I suggested Duragloss' new coating system, maybe give that a try?

Yeah true... But I'd like to polish in spring and coat so I can have good protection all spring to the end of the year. Just bickering at this point. I'll get something soon

You can still apply PBL in summer outside. I just applied PBL to my car outside in the sun on a day while it was 93 degrees. You just have to work quicker and probably use a bit more product but my car is fully protected.
