This is not a spray. Its applied with a sponge applicator. There seems to be a lot of confusion between the two different products tw offers.

This isn't a spray, it's a coating, you apply it with an applicator pad so no overspray.
I know of the product your referring to.

It seems that way.
I think the coating kit I used just came out, in fact only two weeks ago I saw it for the first time.
The spray I've seen before.
Both are TW products.

Oh nice. I will say the initial application of the TW spay gave me the shine I like to see on tires. What I didn't like was when it got old it got this rainbow effect like oil on water. Does this one have the same chemical make up? I'd be willing to give it a shot next time I need tire shine.

Re: Coated my tires today and WOW,
This is the product I believe he applied:
TURTLE WAX® JET BLACK? BLACK ENDURA-SHINE TIRE COAT KIT
It is not a spray. I have prepped my tires and will apply the same thing tomorrow. I did 4 coats of tire cleaner and scrubbed them clean. Last coat of cleaner produced nothing but white suds. Would have applied the product today but it was a bit on the cool side.
The coating used in the post "Turtle Wax Tire Coat Warning" is specifically called out by the thread starter here in post 16 of the thread:

It's sort of the same as Tuf Shine in that it comes with a spray tire cleaner, the coating itself that you apply with an "applicator" pad and gloves.
There's no overspray to worry about.

As of right now I'm not sure, in a short time I'll give a full review of it, hopefully no "Rainbow" effect
It is tinted, black which really makes your tires dark, even if they are very faded.
After the tires were cured I took a white towel, sprayed a little water on it then rub it over the tires and the towel remained white, it told me the tires were clean and dry

That's it, this is what I posted on another thread, I even took all of the contents out of the box to show it was not a "spray"
Thanks for the link, maybe that will put an end to the confusion

Like I said earlier, the cleaner that comes with the kit will remove the coating , just using an APC won't touch it
Make sure to wear the provided gloves because you'll need gasoline to remove it from your hands. Lol
