ADD A LINK TO SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE VIDEOS RELATING TO DETAILING.

I know that CRAZY DANA GUY is starting another thread!
I've been pretty pumped diving back into something I've always enjoyed doing and having a group of guy's that feel the same way! Why not link some of your favorite videos related to detailing you recall watching that were really good!
Being there's so many on the subject it gets old real fast!
This will make it easier to cherry pick some of the better ones you recall seeing.
The one I'm posting is on the Active 2.0 pressure washer. I really want one and am just waiting to hear how there holding up since they just came out recently. Just noticed Adam's is carrying them now.

I started a number of threads too Dana! haha

I have the original active and i fitted it was the black MTM hose and quick connects with an amazon swivel gun.

Works fine for my purposes. I've only used it intermittently so maybe 20x.

The original packs a decent punch for such a light unit but i'm sure you're aware they are not serviceable like a kranzle.

I'm sure it works great! I just bought the Ryobi 1800 and put a 2.5 Orifice 40 degree and it get 1.4 GPM at 1100 PSI. It's funny since my MTM Hydro Acqualine SGS35 gun Kobrajet Hose MTM Rinse Nozzle and Guard is 4X's the $ as the washer!lol
I have a really nice gas but wish I never bought it honestly. Way to big to bring on jobs. I have a 2250 generator and it will only power up to 15AMPS so the Active will be perfect!

I use the 3.0 orifice when i'm deep cleaning but even at that size i'm very careful and the 3.7 orifice normally(which came with the unit) - both 40 degrees. A 2.5 orifice on the active would be too strong for a car IMO.

I settled on the black MTM kobrajet and bought the separate MTM quick connects and installed them myself. It was considerably cheaper.

Honestly man it's been a while now i can't remember a lot about the specs.

There new one's sweet spot is 4.5 I personall like 40 degree for everything except wheels and mats so I always carry both.
Lately I've had a sweet tooth for these.ADD A LINK TO SOME OF YOUR FAVORITE VIDEOS RELATING TO DETAILING.-31u5-wp4gel-_ac_-jpg

They are VERY nice if i was doing this for a living they would be on top of my list. But i'm more of a rinseless guy now. My cheap gun with a 3.7, 40 degree tip is all i need. Best practice for me is a pressure wash and then a rinseless but i have been on the hunt for a very good fire type nozzle on the end of my garden hose for the pre-rinse. I have decent pressure on my water line. I like simple.

I have looked at the MTM steel lances a few times i think i would like that more than just the snub gun.

I kind of went backwards in car detailing, I became obsessed with machine polishing before i even figured out my preferred way to keep the car clean HAHA.

All things Junkman. Educational with a touch of humor (and most importantly to me humility)
