Can you coat wheels that are painted?

I just got a car with wheels that appear to be painted or dipped (see pic) was wondering if I could apply a coating to these or if it would dull the finish.

Nope no worries, in fact, that would be the best thing you could do to those wheels, is coat them.

Your pick as for product, but as others will tell you, get them spotlessly clean first, preferably off ride, wash, clay, polish if need be, de-grease for coating prep, then coat them.

Tuff shine, or another primo AG product, or Optimum for the tires, and you're good!
