    Collinite 845 application?

I got my first bottle of #845. I am eager to try it out, but it seems like it is going to be hard to apply. The consistency of the product in the bottle is like a paste wax, not a liquid wax. Should I heat it up or something to make it less viscous?

Do a search on here. There is a great thread about how to apply including heating it up which can be done with the sun or soaking the bottle in hot water.

"Collinite 845: the definitive guide to this legendary wax" or something like that is the title of the thread.

It is also a sticky on the "how to articles" forum page

Put it in hot water in your sink for 10-20 minutes, then shake it up

That's my approach too. Unfortunaly, the way we're going with the weather this year, this technique won't work until July!

Once there is a little more space in the bottle, just shaking it vigorously thins it out for me.

I also added a fine sprayer head to apply because i hate the medicine bottle top and pouring it on has the possibility of being messy or using too much.

It is definitely my favorite "wax" /hybrid sealant

sleep with it. Your body heat will melt it nicely overnight if you keep it close.
