Sonax Perfect Finish & Nano Polish vs. Menzerna line ??
Where do these Sonax products stack up against the Menzerna line in terms of cut and finish?
Also, these are DAT correct?
From my research, it seems this is somewhat the observation:
Sonax Perfect Finish - Cut similar to PF2500 but finishes as good (or better) then SF4000
Sonax Nano Polish - Cut similar to FF3000 but finishes as good as SF4500

I thought the Sonax offered a wider range of cut and finish...

Depending on where in the world you are, there are different cut and different designations for each of their compounds and polishes. In fact, it is really something to look at their complete line and see just all that they offer.
Check out their website, and this brochure.

What about Perfect Finish comments? I'm to get a sample for testing it and I'm looking forward to get insights here from where to start... how to position it with Menz. products are a great intro. Answers are somewhat confusing...
@porta
Perfect finish = PF2400/PO203S
Nano Polish = SF4000/PO106FA
Are you saying they are equal, same products? Just like? How much likely?
(sorry, just want info, not bore you).
Can someone talk about first OP question (abrasive technology), and give some points how to use this product, and when it's an option instead of Menz. 'similar' product?
Thank you in advance.

Re: Sonax Perfect Finish & Nano Polish vs. Menzerna line ??
Sonax PF is my go to finishing polish right now, before i was using menz PF2500 as my finishing polish and 1 step correction. Here are some of my experiences with using both products, which may vary with other members here.
- Sonax PF has a similar or a slightly better cut than menz PF2500.
- Sonax PF finishes slightly better than menz PF2500, it gives that extra gloss if used with a finishing pad.
- both has long working time.
- menz tends to fill more.
- sonax is more economical, very little product is needed, 2-3 pea size drops is enough. If you use too much product, it will gum up your pad.
to sum it up, both products are good, just inclined to using sonax PF more due to its flexibility, more economical and good finishing ability. Which i think are essential qualities for my business. Hope this helps.

Sonax PF is a rotary only product. Sonax is launching a new Profiline EX 4/6 product that is suppose to be DA friendly.
There has been some chatter by some very respected industry professionals that Sonax PF has a tendency to fill in the same manner as Ultrafina. That is, the fillers are extremely durable and it can be difficult to confirm that correction has actually taken place.
However, keep in mind that the product was designed to be used as a fine cut finishing polish on a rotary. Using the product outside of its intended use can leave to undesirable consequences.
