    Question Which Lake Country Pad?

Doing a 2 step correction. Orange pad & Menzerna FG400 for compounding.

Finishing polish is Menz SF4000. Should I use the Black or White pad?

Im leaning towards Black but wanna make sure it will fully take out any haze left by the Orange...

Test Spot will tell. Try the black pad first and see if you are happy with the result. Although, black has little or no cut. But, if the paint is super soft...

Test spot is a good response.

If you do end up going the white pad route. You can always follow it with a black pad. 4500 would be a nice choice...

Which black pad are you using? I use 5" LC hybrids on my Flex w/4500 and have had really good results. That 4500 is really good to jewel with on a rotary w/ gold LC pad too.

Oops I meant hydro crimson pad...I now have black hybrids I've yet to try. No rotary experience here although I want to learn

I bet your luck with your flex w/ 4500 and the hybrids will increase immensely. Depending on the paint, I use speed 3-3.5 and am always astounded with how good the pad/polish combo is.

    Re: Which Lake Country Pad?

I'm going to be doing the same type of correction soon as it warms up (mid april ish...), and since i'm just getting to detailing, curious as to how many pads I should be buying?
If i'm doing a two step correction, then planning on applying a coat of wax - how many of each pad would I need for a CUV?
    2 or 3 of each?

Also, seems for the correction (as mentioned above) orange and white/black are the best combo.. but what about applying/removing paste wax?
