Need help with Collinite hazing in humid weather

So I picked up a new black sapphire BMW a few weeks ago and I polished, prepped, and waxed the paint. I used M205, 50/50 IPA wipe down, then Collinite applied via DA. Everything looked great but this past week the humidity has been 100% everyday and each day the paint is getting more hazy and the wax is starting to re-appear. I tried wiping down with cool water and then also with a QD but it didn't do much. I was applying a fair amount of pressure so I don't feel like I want to push any harder.

Is there anything short of me polishing off and starting over? Any tips? I've always been able to get rid of hazing or sweating by using a cool QD, so this has me stumped.

Re: Need help with Collinite hazing in humid weather

Rather than polishing, try Clay bar (or Nanoskin, I use the Blue one). I wax my cars quite a bit and use different waxes for the fun of it. I am assuming the humidity has something to do with the hazing. After I wax my car, I let it set out in the sun for an hour or so as that will trigger the "ghosting" or "hazing".

For you not to get rid of the hazing with a QD is perplexing. I would try claying, however, if you do that; you will have to re-wax the car.

Maybe you should use the QD at dusk or close to evening. It's usually cooler then and less (???) humidity. I am not too familiar with the Collinite liquid wax, I use their 476 double coat wax.

Could it be the liquid wax? Or possibly (really stretching) that the liquid wax is bad?

It should be easy to wipe off with a QD. My guess the humidity is the factor.

I hope this will help you....but if you do figure it out let me know.
