    DP Odor Eliminator bomb "trick"

I usually use the Dakota scent bomb. I wanted to try the DP brand so I ordered 3 of them. I couldn't get 2 of the 3 to work using them in "quick burst" mode. Called AG and as you would

expect they were sending 2 new ones out n/c. Upon hanging up with customer service I
pushed a little to hard on one and set it off while driving. Fortunately I was pulling up to my

destination. Called AG back and said "I guess they do work. Cancel the replacements". I always worry I'll activate the "bomb" while trying to get a short burst so removed the "hook"

that holds the trigger down. If you use these strictly as a quick shot of scent consider this.

The hook is right under the area you push down

Use a small hobby knife to remove the "hook". The plastic is very soft and doesn't require much effort. This will permanently disable the "lock" function of the bomb.

Re: DP Odor Eliminator bomb "trick"

The first time I used one I didn't know that it had a lock. I found out pretty quick when I coudn't get it to shut off. I fianlly ripped the whole top off it it stopped. I have since cut the lock off too. It was funny and caught me by surprise. I sprayed the inside of the car, outside the car,a nd part of the garage before I got the top off. Great products but wish the lock wasn't there.
