    Scratches and a Ford Raptor

I'm currently working on a 2013 Fod Raptor (black). The owner took the vehicle off-roading and did a number down the sides. I'm testing out a few of the scratches to determine my process moving forward and I just can't seem to make a dent. I went as far as my pe-14 paired with a surfburf pad and m105. When I checked the scratches out initially, not one caught my finger nail. I'm stumped.

Could you maybe post pics of the scratches?

Do you have any Menz FG400? That worked for me on a Merc that had scratches nothing else would touch.

Have you considered lightly wetsanding the scratched areas?

Good luck. I detailed a red Raptor a coupe months ago. It is a beautiful truck.

Try sanding with a 2000 grit. Very light pressure. You may not be able to get them out 100%, but at least reduce them.

Those will come out. You just have to take your time and not rush the job and not overheat the clearcoat. I did a Caddy a couple of months ago. It was dented so I had the dents removed and buffed out the scratches.
