collinite 845 vs. opti-seal
I've been using 845 for an LSP for awhile now and just recently picked up some Opti-Seal over the holiday weekend to try out. Anybody that's used both have any comments on comparing the two as far as looks and durability (especially the durability part)?

Re: collinite 845 vs. opti-seal
For me 845 produced a brighter, crisper look. I have had 845 last all winter here in ohio 5-6 months. My issue with 845 is that I found that ONR washes degraded it exponentially faster and could almost wipe it away in a months or so. So I changed to regular washes and UWWP.
OOS is a nice sealant. It gave me more of a wet look on my car. IMO the beading on OOS is a little looser than I care for but it is fine since I want the protection. As far as durability I got 2-4 months. The thing with OOS is that it is so easy to apply I could do my car in 15min post wash and be done, especially if your wash with ONR.

Re: collinite 845 vs. opti-seal
I have 845, OS old formula, OS current formula, and use them extensively.
Durability:
They have similar durability.
Application:
OS is WOWA.
845 needs to be wiped off, but it is still very easy provided you use it correctly.
Look:
it is all in the prep they look 99% similar.
Variety is spice of life.
Consider they are not expensive, they will be always in my arsenal.

Think twice if you're going to trade with ExoticAutoDetai.

I really like the 845, but I picked up the OOS more or less to save some more time (and to try something new lol)

I like the 845 and use it on winter details. I really looks nice and last throughout the winter here in Western NC.

Opti-Seal is one of my favorite products. The ease of use and looks are excellent. Durability is around 2-5 months depending on how the vehicle is cared for, but if you are seeking longer than that it's time to step up to a coating anyway.
