    Cure time?

Hey Guys..In the past doing a paint correction, I got the paint right, then I polished, then I sealed and I'm done. Now, I want to start putting a coat of wax after the sealer for that extra "pop" for some of my customers.

My question is...Do you have to wait for the paint sealant to cure 100% before applying the wax?

    The sealers I have are:

    WG3.0 (12hr cure time)
    MENZ Power Lock
    Megs 2.0
    Black Fire Polish & Seal
    Klasse AIO
And several different kinds of wax.

Thanks, I would appreciate any feedback.

Most say 12 hours is the cure time. It's likely safe to wait 6. If you can't wait that long I wouldn't do it. One thing you can do is use WG Deep Gloss Liquid Seal. It's a pretty durable WOWA sealant. It can be topped in 1 hour.

Plus WOWA sealants take all of about 10 minutes to apply and they're on sale right now!

Polycharger and Duragloss #601 might also interest you.

    If it all possible:
Wait for the Sealant's cure time to come to a conclusion.
You want as much "polymer cross-linking" to occur, that you can get!

When I apply 2 coats of power lock I wait between 6-8 hours.
