Which wet/dry vacuum should I buy?

Well I got the help from all helpful AGO members on which steamer to get and will be getting it.

I also want a wet/dry vacuum. I saw this one at Sears and looks promising. However, I wanted to check with you everyone to see if any better recommendations are suggested.

Also I have never tried blow drying a car but this seems like it might kill 2 birds with one stone.

Like always thanks for the help everybody

Thank you Todd, I would also like to add, while I know it's not a true extractor. I will get one later on. I also want to use it as much as I can as an extractor for now. Until I get one in the future.

This is the one I got from Sears. I like the compact size. It's very quiet, don't need to add a muffler to it and comes with more attachments and also has a retractable cord.

I mostly want one that can suck up a lot of water. The RIDGID looks promising

Re: Which wet/dry vacuum should I buy?

I would go with the rigid. Craftsman is more of a DIYer market, where as Rigid is more industrial and used by a lot of contractors. I tried a 5hp craftsman but then returned it and got myself a Rigid 4.5 (the one that looks like a box) and it was a dramatic difference in power, despite the fact they were both 5hp. The Rigid is built better and being that it is a box shape, storage is convenient. All the adapters and hoses are stored inside the box as well. I also picked this one because I've seen contractors lug this thing around all the time and it can be used as a chair lol. http://s4.thisnext.com/media/largest...n/981F392C.jpg

I've got 6 or so wet vacs. Fom a 2.25 hp Craftsman to a 6.5 hp Rigid.
This 4.25 I used on the house this morning.

Pulled this one out to use this wknd.

All are capable water removing vacs.
