    Compounds and Polishes

I usually use the compound and polish with a glaze or AIO and sealer and wax at the end. I think im going to go to just trying to use a great pad with a swirl remover and an Aio to followed by the sealer and wax instead. Gonna really take my time and see if I can get the same results. I find I am spending to much time with the compound and polish. What do you guys think? The compounding can be don't with a swirl remover and lots of care on the panel with good results. I know if its in really bad shape I will have to just compound it out but I think I have been wasting my time and money on the stuff. Give me your $.2.

It really comes down to what you want the paint to looks like. I never use AIO really not a fan but thats just me. I ether do a one step and then sealant or a 2 step and sealant. I will never use a glaze ever thing there all crap and only hide stuff. For me its ether do it right or don't do it at all.

I feel ya, but the Aio and Glazes look amazing and get the paint all clean and ready for the sealer. u don't ever put a was over the sealant?

I think the idea of layering is wayyyy over rated and for the most part a huge waste of products.

I guarantee if I were to compound and polish 2 of the exact same vehicle, seal one, then aio, seal, wax, then glaze the other you would be hard pressed to pick which one is which.

I don't even own a glaze. Huge waste of time energy and money in my opinion for something that washes away within a week and provides no real benefits.
