Removing some seriously old adhesive
Just removed the OEM bug gaurd from my 2000 4runner with 136,000 miles.
The guard had these rubber bumpers across the front of the hood that were put on with double sided adhesive stuff, maybe 3m?
Its dried out and stuck on there pretty good.
What would you suggest to get it off without hurting paint etc?
I do not have a heat gun, but I do have a steamer, some hot hot water, you name it.

Warm it up and use your thumb nail to remove it then a little light rubbing with WD40 to take care of the rest.
