    Window streaks

Hey everyone. It's been a while since I've been on. Lots of traveling and such for work. At any rate. I bought this 05 sti in December and this problem is driving me nuts. I carry a microfiber and wipe it almost daily but still. When I put the window down, it leaves marks on the window. I think the rubber piece that seals the window when it's up is dirty. Does anyone have a suggestion? Pic is attached. I hope the description is easy to understand, I'm not sure how else to describe it.

The felt strips might be contaminated with some oily interior dressing like Armor All .... maybe take the door panel off and give them a good cleaning!

Or just see how much a new one from the dealer would be

I'd remove the door panel and clean both sides of the seal with a good degreaser (I use ZEP Citrus, does a good job at removing waxes/etc) really well. Those lines aren't coming from anything within the door (like a regulator or etc. unless the subi has a long piece of felt).

I think that's your best bet. Detail brushes and some safe degreaser.

If your windows are waxed/sealed, maybe consider another product.
