Re: Huge fan of shiny tires

I like shiny tires on my 350z. I put two coats of Meg's Endurance and it lasts a long time. On my SUV and minivan I like a medium shine/sheen. One coat of endurance does the trick. I don't like the natural look. Why have beautiful shiny paint and nicely polished rims only to have dull looking tires?

Natural doesn't mean dull. Natural means black without shine.

    Undressed (100% clean):

    Natural:

    Satin:

Shiny: I don't have any pics of shiny.

Out of the 3. I'd pick the satin. (Just me)

Having a shiny picture would really compliment your portfolio. IMO and just saying.

    Thanks for the pictures

Thats very nice looking. only thing that draws me away from armourall tire shine is that it doesnt last long at all...thats just my own experience though. Are you getting much longevity out of it or just spraying often?

Re: Huge fan of shiny tires

I too enjoy a nice, shiny tire over a matte/satin look. In my arsenal right now is PERL and PB BnB. I also have Opti-Bond but I don't think it gives the look that I am after. Maybe layering it would achieve my desired level of shine but I know the PERL has done it superbly thus far.

Pockets: those pictures you posted is the best PB advertising EVER! Great look!

Re: Huge fan of shiny tires

I like the matte or satin look. Having said that I understand why all the different products are produced and everyone can make their own choice. When I see clean natural tires, shiny tires, satin or matte tires I respect that the person takes pride and the effort to get them clean. One thing with natural tires you know they have them clean. Dressing can cover up a lot. One thing I don't like to look at is natural tires covered with filth and browning/blooming. I suppose one of these days the rubber tire color will match the car paint too.

    Huge fan of shiny tires

Meh. It depends on the car. Super shiny tires remind me of Armour All. That being said, the look PB's Bold N Bright gives looks more refined to me. When the tires look "wet", they usually are with greasy goo.

Here is one I took tonight of my DD with Tuff Shine. Best part about TS, they stay looking like this through rain, snow, and washing:

Above tires the day I got them, no Tuff Shine:

I think this is BnB on my BMW:
