Porsche Carrera GT
My client added to his collection a 2005 Porsche Carrera GT ($500,000) and it is ALL carbon fiber!
Paint is flawless thankfully.
It is the very rare Gulf Blue Color.
I ues a foam injector to clean all my cars for my clients as I don't use buckets.
This car has open vents around the engine area...any ideas on if it is okay to get a little water in those vents?
I know I will be wiping off the carbon fiber on the inside as well.
Anyone had a chance to detail one of these.
Just in case, what is the Clear Coat and Paint like on that car?

Any pictures?
The Gulf blue is a "Paint to sample" custom color. The clear coat is probably the same as on other P-cars.

you might be encountering 2 diffrent types of clear coats, the carbon fiber in the engine bay is probably going to have a heat resistant coating, where as the outside might be diffrent.

It ok to get water on the engine but it does leave spots. My Lambo has vents over the engine. When I wash it I put a 2 towels over the engine so it don't get wet and leave water spots.
