    Window sealants

What do you guys as pros put on windshields and window after polishing to remove acid rain, and any other contamination to protect them. I would like to get 1 tr or more protection.

Griots or Pinnacle. The best I can tell the are identical. You can use any sealant or wax on windows with no wipers.

I am willing to pay for a quality product that lasts longer. Don't get me wrong Griots has some good products, I'm just not a fan.

Has anyone tried Chemical Guys Jetseal 109 or GTechniq C2v3 Liquid Crystal? What were your results and longevity?

A good question Glenn. When you watch so called pros on videos polishing the glass with what looks like paint polish you have to wonder if glass polish and coatings are just hype to promote a new group of products that are specialty items like so many other products. I don't mean to sound cynical but I do wonder.

    Re: Window sealants

I have found that polishing glass to be a great service, because I like to have a clear unobstructed view. The clarity is like having a new windshield all over again. I want to protect it for as long as I can in an effort not to have to go thru all this work again in 6 months. So as we protect paint once it has been corrected I would assume there are products that do the same for glass. You do pose a good thought can the same product work on glass as they do paint? Nice

Never used a DP product I just bought some of their paint sealant thought to try. Was the application simple or drawn out and any prep involved prior to using?

    Re: Window sealants

I was just looking at DP coatings and they have paint, glass, and wheel coatings all use the same process. Im not a rocket scientist but I'm thinking these are the same products just labeled for different use. Does anyone know? I would rather buy one bottle of coating than 2 more of which I don't need and spend money on other products.
Here is the link if you need to be sure of the products I am referring to.
