Man I dont understand why some ppl have so many problems on curved surfaces. Mine works great. Ppl need to remember u dont have to use hardly any pressure. Sure if your pushing on it hard on curved surfaces it will bog down but its not neede.

I see this all the time but I have never had one problem on a curved panel.

And I don't understand how people say there's a learning curve needed to use the flex.

The thing with the Rupes is, you are talking about 2 different machines. The 15 would be better for curved panels, just because of the size of the pad, smaller stroke, and the lower mass of the pad the 500w motor has to spin.
While the 21 can handle more ground quicker, its big pads and large stroke primarily are for flat areas.
I still wish they had smaller BPs for the 15 available.

And that is exactly what I'm talking about. I have a 21 with a 5bp and even though there 5.5 pads the throw will smack the grill and or the trunk.

i would wait till after SEMA and see if there's anything new coming out and decide then. who knows, maybe Flex will come out with a DA with 25mm throw...
