aggressive cut pad/light compound or medium cut pad/heavy compound?
Which do you guys prefer for compounding out deeper marks? I currently do a medium cut pad and a heavier cut compound to remove the real hard stuff, but I wonder if it would be better to use a heavier cut pad and lighter compound. Will the newer 'diminishing abrasive' compounds allow you to get a good gloss back even if you are using a heavier cut pad(foam pad, no wool pads)? I have one of the Edge 2K heavy cut black foam pads on order to play with this on some donor panels. Any input would be appreciated, though, upfront. I still don't have the skills for a wool cutting pad, so the black heavy cut foam pad may actually be too much for as well....
