Need some advice on a Jeep Wrangler

Got a job on Tuesday and accepted this one sight unseen. Customer says its in good condition, but then again... Anyway, I've been doing searches and wondered if anyone has any advice on curves, plastic, etc.

I plan to use a pc and metabo with Menz, XMT, Optimum Poli-Seal in my arsenal. My main question is how hard exactly is the paint and does it have a clearcoat?

    thanks in advance

What year is the Jeep? I had a 95 and currently have an 01. As Gary stated there are not a lot of flat surfaces on a Jeep. If the one you're detailing has plastic painted flares like my 01 you'll be fine. The Jeeps that have black flares tend to fade out a lot. Something like PB Trim Restorer or 303 will work on the flares. budman3 recently did a review on this topic too.

I use to have a Jeep and it's not an easy vehicle to detail. There have been a number of recent Jeep Details. I don't think there anything special about the curves or plastic you have to worry about. From want I remember about detailing mine was it had a little parts sticking up which broke up the flat surfaces making it hard to detail.

Thanks for the replies. Makes me feel a little better. But what about the paint? I've read that it was hard, but do they have a clearcoat?
