    Quick Engine clean up

Keeping up on keeping your engine clean is important. You can spot signs of problems sooner than you would be able to in a greasy mess and helps the resale value of your car. Keeping up on your engine with a few simple tools is easy.

The few simple things you will need.
Brushes example wheel woolies, Daytona speed master, etc
    Soap
Hose with gun sprayer or firehose sprayer (you can use a pressure washer but this is all that is really needed)
    Leaf blower

Here we have a dirty engine bay. This happens from driving on a dirt road or in rain or snow. It can also happen if your car is parked outside during windy days as well.

For heavy soiled engines different approaches are required this engine im working on today just has some dirt and grime due to weather so all that is needed is a little soap and water.

A lot of foam is good!

When engine detailing you will need tools to help you get into those tough areas. I like to use my wheel woolies because they have 3 different sizes which allows you to really get into tight areas. You can find great brushes anywhere that will help you just use common sense and don’t use aggressive brushes on painted parts that could scratch paint

After a through cleaning rinse the engine. You are then ready to dry. For this method you can dry using towels if that is all you have but I recommend using a shop vac or a leaf blower. With a shop vac you can either suck up the water or revese the hose and use it as a blower.

It is then optional if you would like to dress your engine and there is a lot of good products out there for the job. But I intend to not use dressings to much if it is not needed as it attracts dust to stick.

Thank you for looking comments and questoins welcome have a good day!
