XMT and Rotary...

Like the title says...

XMT and Rotary...has anyone used this combindation and what were the results? i understand that XMT was created for use with the PC but outside of the quick work in time XMT would have when using a rotary, i wonder their are any other problums with this combination?

would the results would be the same or better?

take a look at rotary questions thread...but xmt doesnt work the best with rotary...i have used xmt 4 with rotary to remove scatches but thats bout the only thing that works well

I've used XMT 360 with the Metabo Rotary and a finish pad (Meg's 9006) and it worked fine. Speed approx. 1,400 rpm. Worked the product until the haze was gone and wiped the area with an mf towel and qd.

I shot time ago I used both a rotary and a PC applying XMT360 to my van. I thought the 360 worked fine with the rotary.

XMT series is mainly made for the DA polisher, ive never tryed it with the Rotary myself. Got other stuff thats suited for that...

But it may work, Meguiars MG83 is also a DA polish, but that works just fine with both machines.
