    Question Windshield washer cleaner fluid

Which one do you use and why?

Do you worry if it effects your windshield sealant?

Do you provide it to your customers when you detail?

I use the green Rain-X, I don't worry to much about the degree of freezing because I'm in south Florida. I like it because it does a good job cleaning and it leaves behind repellent, which is also Rain-X.

I've been looking to get something more economical, a concentrate, or even ONR when I switch to a more permanent repellent.

I don't provide it to customers because I don't detail as a business(yet?). I do provide it to my family members when they come over and it's in the garage

I use the orange Rain X 2-in-1. It gets cold up here. Never felt like it caused any issues, but I'm using it less and less since I wash my car more frequently and have a sealant on the glass.

I've used the orange rain-x and won't use it again since it ate into the cars clear coat.

Check out Pinnacle GlassWork Windshield Washer Booster.

It doubles the cleaning power of regular windshield washer fluid while creating a much slicker washer fluid that is less prone to streaking and smearing. Its formula is highly concentrated which means one 16 ounce bottle of concentrate treats 16 gallons of washer fluid! It is perfect for removing built up road film, dirt and grime to avoid creating a safety hazard in inclement weather conditions.

It will not remove glass sealants.

No. Wiper blade inserts do more "effecting", as it were...IMO.
