Engine bay on a hybrid - what to use?
I have a “horrible habit” of keeping the engines of my cars always clean. I know, there two schools of thought on the subject and I am really hoping not to resurrect some old wounds here
Saw a thread about someone washing his hybrid engine on a Camry (that’s exactly what I just got) but because of the use of the acronyms I was not sure what he was referring to as far as the dressing it. When I detail the engine bay I always use the silicone spray on the moving rubberized or rubber components like the serpentine belt, CV boots and rack and pinion sleeves, but the rest of the bay I’d spray liberally with formula 303 and just let it sit and soak in, then wipe the access.
Considering that I know nothing about the hybrids, unfortunately. Can I use the same approach with my new car? I know the dealership cleaned and prepped the car, but I am geek, must do more….
Thanks!
