Does Iron-X smell like a posh girl's fart...or that of some common muck?

I find it smells like a perm being done.

I coated my car with it and didn't notice the smell though. Just keep you nose away.

I've got iron-x paste double zip locked bagged and it still stinks up the room when I open the box.

I had to put it out in the garage. I had the lid on it, tucked away in a cabinet and the wife and I can still smell it.

To me it smells like hair salon perm chemicals mixed with vomit.

    Re: Iron- X

I could be wrong, but I'm thinking there is a newer version Iron-X that is out, that is scented?

I had apparently used the older "perm" smelling stuff, and where I dumped the rinse bucket of water, I smelled it for 2 weeks. LOL

Besides the offensive smell, it truly is one outstanding product! Will never be without this one for the future.

    Re: Iron- X

Made a huge mistake of removing the sprayer and stuck my nose in it and took a big whiff because I am curious of how all my new products smell and I almost knocked myself out!!! I don't know what kind of cherries they have but the cherries I know DO NOT smell like that.

I do know the Snow Soap is pretty pungent too. Not so bad once diluted, but when pouring it for dilution, use in a well ventilated area.

    Re: Iron- X

Actually, I was using both Iron-X and Griot's HD Wheel Cleaner and couldn't help but wonder if the 2 were related. Both seem to change to a similar color when "working" and have a smell that stays with you for days!

Of course, maybe the Iron-X smell was just covering up everything else.
