From here on out just quote and edit this post (but remove the quote part) / add your name and corresponding number to this sample list
Note this is not a guarantee for a sample, also if you receive a sample feedback is critical in furthering the development and advancement of the product.
Not gonna lie, I'd be pretty stoked if I had a chance to get a wax made by you It'd be put to good use here!

Re: Son1c 's Home Brew Carnauba Wax - ProtoWax -> Picture Heavy
nice to see you at it up and early...
enjoying this thread and your progress. hope your wax comes out better than you hope and gives the others a run for their money, nice to see it beading nicely like a quality wax.
does it haze (if so, how do you control, as far as the ingredients that go into it, the time it takes to haze)
for example I noticed in your pictures of your own wax, it seems very oily and in the satsuma it is hazed (of course it can be the factor of you taking the picture right after applying your wax and the satsuma at a later time)
also, how did you create that badge, looks pretty nice
oh and lastly just saw your #24 that was dried out...you said solvents but is it due to "not enough" solvents? and is it possible to just add some to that already dried/cracked #24 and reboil it so you don't waste the ingredients

Re: Son1c 's Home Brew Carnauba Wax - ProtoWax -> Picture Heavy
first off - good going SON1C 8)
we have talked a bit and i know you feel i am holding back but you are making great progress here. i love seeing brewthreads as they remind me of where Dom and i started. the evocative images of the cans, bottles and bags that lived on the kitchen counters for months and the excessive GU eating for the small glass pots we used to make wax.
the steps you have taken are logical and well thought out - we commend you. one thing i would say is think about which path you want to go - substantially natural or hybrid. since you are using the bee and carnauba waxes it will always end up being a hybrid - but you can choose to go natural or synthetic on the oils/solvents added.
the trade off (most of the time, exceptions exist) >
more natural = thicker layer left behind per layer, tighter beading, less sheeting, less layering and far less durability.
more synthetic = good sheeting, increased durability, thinner layer per layer, better layering and less sheeting.
hence hybrids - but remember, as far as i know there is no way to get all of the above in the same product to the highest level. it is not like boosting all the attributes independently, they effect each other.
as always buddy, keep pushing and experimenting and anytime you ready send me some and i will give you my feedback. IWL awaits its first US brewer 8)
