Menzerna application order?
I'm a newbie at machine detail and I previously used Zaino by hand. Now I have ordered:
1) Porter Cable 7424 with Edge adaptor
2) Edge pads: orange, blue, white, red
3) P21S Paintwork Cleansing Lotion
4) Menzerna Intensive Polish (with orange light-cutting pad)
5) Menzerna Final Polish II (with blue polishing pad)
6) Menzerna Finishing Touch Glaze (with white finishing pad)
7) Menzerna FMJ wax (with red finishing pad)
Is that the right application order and pad combo? I am confused about the difference between Intensive Polish and Final Polish.
TIA...

If you are polishing you can skip the cleansing lotion. I would do a claybar first though. And don't start with the intensive polish either. You always want to start with the least aggressive so you don't take off too much clear. Try the Finishing polish first with a polishing pad, and then go up from there if it isn't enough.

So you only need cleansing lotion if you are just glazing/waxing? The polishing removes the previous sealants? Dang, I just ordered some thinking I need it.
Do you mean start with Final Polish? I am still not clear about the difference between that and Intensive Polish.

Yes,start with the final polish and see if you get the results you want.

The Intensive polish has more cut than the Final Polish so it is more aggressive. If you just have light swirls the Final polish might be enough. Start with a polishing pad. If that isn't enough, move to a light cut pad. If that doesn't do it, then move on to the Intensive polish.
As for the paint cleanser, it wasn't really a waste. That is something to use in between new waxings to clean up the paint. But since you are polishing right now it isn't needed.
