Full Sun
Hi Guys/Gals, a question for the facts or your thoughts about doing rinseless washing in full sun. Would you, if not why? If you would/do what tips can you offer to all of us to have good results?

Re: Full Sun
Full sun isn't the issue, it's the surface temperature. Last weekend I used a rinseless wash in full sun without a single issue because the surface temperature was 76 degrees.

Yes it can.
There are a lot of factors to consider, the color of the paint, time of year, geographical location, and time of day.
This is a color vs temperature chart someone was kind enough to post so it's easy to see the difference color makes.
For me I think a surface temperature of more than 95 degrees is where you can get into problems. I've never done an actual experiment to determine the side affects but for me this is it.
- Also, using a cold water mixture drops the surface temperature very quickly.
- The horizontal panels will be much warmer then the vertical panels.
- Work in the morning or late in the day when the suns at its lowest point.
