    Iron X on chrome wheels?

I was wondering if you can use Iron X on chrome wheels? I heard chrome wheels are really soft so I wasn't sure how the wheels would react to them. Thoughts?

Real chrome is hard. The chrome clad (basically plastic wheel covers) are plastic with a chrome plating.

I have used it on my real chrome but got minimal effect. I must keep them clean.

Re: Iron X on chrome wheels?

I tried on my moms Tahoe a couple weekends ago when I washed it.
They are chrome clad and it had no effect at all on them.
The car was purchased new in November just for reference.

Did you spray on and rinse off, or was there any scrubbing?

I just sprayed it on, let it dwell, then rinsed.

Re: Iron X on chrome wheels?

From CarPro's Iron X Facts and Frequently Asked Questions (w/my bolding):

"Will Iron X stain chrome wheels or chrome trims"?

"No, it’s completely safe to use on any chrome wheels, trim, or bare aluminum wheels.
There is only one condition: Do not let it dry under sun light."

I'd also take care to not allow, as much as possible, any IronX
to come in contact with some braking-system components...

Especially those made from "exotic-materials" like ceramic/carbon and carbon/carbon.
