An old thread but still relevant. For me, there are two products that stand out as drying aids - Lucas Slick Mist Speed Wax and Duragloss AquaWax. Both not only work well but are great values as well. AquaWax may be a little difficult to be found locally but the Lucas can be found at any Walmart or auto store.
I find searching damn near impossible. At least on the mobile app, maybe its easier on a computer. I'll put in some key words and a million threads pop up
Use google it is better. Search detail spray site:autogeekonline.net and Google will only weach here. You can then use the google filter to drill down to specific times or dates
I flood the car as good as possible then clean u what's left with d156 and a great white waffle weave....then I do a final wipe down with a spritz of d156 on a 480gsm edgeless MF towel
I have been looking at the sidekick blasters for a while now cuz I hate to take the car out after I've washed it just to have the mirrors spit out what's in there

If you want to accelerate the drying time of the surface without using something with wax or "protection" in it then a water soluble solvent like isopropyl alcohol will work well. Spray onto the wet surface and wipe dry. Any remaining water/alcohol fluids left on the surface will evaporate more quickly than water typically would.

I'd only do that if you plan on putting an LSP on after.
Formula 4 Spray Wax was recommended by a Detail Shop in Texas. I've used it and it works really well. Cost at a mere $20/gallon with a dilution ratio 10:1. Very inexpensive!!
