Bulk Compound Recommendations
I've recently picked up 3 dealer accounts (in a matter of weeks, I'm working like crazy!), and am needing to start buying my compounds in bulk.
I need something that is:
1. Fast cutting
2. Low dusting
3. Finishes well
I'm not too concerned about price here, but I'm needing something that will last a good while and be good for volume oriented work.
Current candidates:
Megs D300
M105 (classic, but dusts quite a bit.)
Menzerna FG400... expensive, but is it worth it? Seems to finish well
Optimum Hyper Compound
Would love to hear the opinions of fellow pro's (and anyone else of course), but especially anyone who is or has done production style work before.
Oh yeah my Rupes 15 is on the way and I'm using my Dewalt rotary a lot if you are wondering what polishers I am using. Lots of Optimum MF cutting pads getting action too.
Thanks!

D300 and a MF cutting pad will work wonders, especially with the rupes. It's finished lsp ready for me on certain paints.

I agree D300 is a good product and so is FG400. I have both products and won't be with out ether on really.

Re: Bulk Compound Recommendations
Not a pro but I keep going back to the FG400 bottle for a lot of the stuff I've been doing since I got it. I keep trying to use the others to use them up as well, but the FG400 just works so much nicer and IMO finishes plenty fine for a dealership.

I would suggest trying:
CarPro Fixer Polishing Compound 500 ml.
Works 99% of the time

I will have to try the fixer! Sounds like a fine product. The D300 sounds like the best overall option. I can get 2 gallons for the price of 1 gallon of FG400. Thinking of a gallon of D300 and 500ml of fixer for lesser damaged vehicles. Thoughts? Thanks for the info!
