Urgent Micro marring / hologram *Whatever this is*

I just tried with the Yellow Rupes pad with their Yellow compound gel didnt help either.

Before i tried with a cyan pad and it seem to induced more.

At this point im freaking tired of this damn car lol, i am out of ideas.

My last combo of LC CCS Black w/ Dodo Juice Lime Prime Lite
Seem to made the paint alot more clear of those damn defects, still has a few here and there.
And this is the only comobo that gave the BEST overall results. I guess i will finish up with the Lime Prime....
Only problem is i am coating the car with OC 2.0
Im unsure if even after Eraser wipe down would ensure OC to bond properly...

If you look at the scratch pattern carefully:


There are a bunch of tiny/short parallel scratches over a long length. To me this looks like the kind of scratches you'd get if "someone" set a package or box on/against your car (boxes usually have some dirt/grit, especially on the bottom and the tape joint slightly bulges) and moved it very slightly before lifting it off. If so, it's going to take some work.

Well you can't be certain (especially if you have no idea what caused it). Oblivious people set boxes on the car next to them, in parking lots as they load their car. I've even saw a lady press a box between her body and the car next to her as she twisted her body to open the door on her car. Never underestimate the carelessness of some people.

I would like to add my 2c.

I experienced a very similar problem when detailing a Java Black Subaru, with very soft paint. Java Black Pearl Subaru Impreza WRX - Detailed by Lawrence

In the end the only thing that worked for me was polishing it out with Menz SF4500 on a black pad and then the important bit..... I soaked a couple Chinchilla MF's in a solution of ONR and used them very 'wet' to remove the polishing oils/residue and then follwed this up with Chemical Guys BL.

I am honestly not sure if this will solve your problem, but may be worth looking at

Could it possibly be some sort of oily residue on your MF towels? Have you tried washing the car in one section to see if those weird marks go away?

Can you feel them w/ your fingernail? Are they in the same spots after each polish? What about wet sanding a spot w/ some 3000g?
