On occassion I'll use IronX or Trix as well but only if I have to.
While on this subject of wheel cleaners I found Wolfs decon gel was a bit of a let down
Sonax fe better then br huh... Im curious also as to what dilution ratio. The price is certainly appealing, so close to pulling the trigger on that stuff...
Re: Which wheel cleaner on nasty wheels? Your goto
APC for light dust
Brown Royal for heavier dusting ( I use it no dilution)
Meg Wheel Brightener for the bad stuff (4:1 dilution), usually followed by Iron X. This was what I had to use on my Mini Cooper which had the dreaded German car brake dust.
I am digging the idea for the Chrome Wheel cleaner for cleaning the brake part though. Thank for sharing!

How long do you let sonax sit on real nasty wheels? And what strength are you using br at?

In for pics of what's everyone this claiming. I just got some iron X so ill be testing that on some hardcore wheel that haven't been clean for the pass 8 years inside barrel.

MEGUIAR'S WHEEL BRIGHTENER.
Does a great, relatively inexpensive job of getting baked on crud off. If there is stuck on metallic brake dust then I get out my Sonax and give the wheel a spritz. When the wheels are spotless then that's the time to used some wheel wax to protect them from the crud to keep them clean longer.
