What kind of detailing will you be doing? If you're doing correction work I'd suggest 101 or 105 for compound and 205 for polish! For one step polish I'd just use the 205!

It depends on the work you expect to be doing though...what machine and pads will you be using? Are you using Mirror Glaze because its available locally?

Most people steer towards the M105/205 combo, which is a fantastic combo!... but I have since grown out of my M105 phase and steered towards other compounds for the most part. M205 is still something I use very regularly though, and it is a great product to work with!

105 & 205 are amazing products. 105 is much more user friendly on a rotary. With that said, I use it all the time with a da. Certain paints it loves to stick to, while others it behaves much better.

I use 205 on a lot of single step polishes. I am still amazed how much correction you can get with it.

I will be receiving 101 on tuesday. Haven't used it yet, but if the hype is real 105 will probably gather a lot of dust.

    with :wlhs: !!!

Seriously.... once you get that 101 you'll never go back to 105 again!

I do keep 105 on my cart (for some reason) with a little bottle of baby oil next to it 'just in case'. OTOH, if you prime your pad with 101 or especially UC then 105 works in pretty darned good.

I'd have M101 and M205 on my shelf if the Mirror Glaze line is your product line of choice.

Those are two of the five polishes I would ever need for just about any situation. The other 3 are not Megs products.
In my day we didn't have the Internet, iPods,iPads, or smart phones....but we had some really bad-azz cars.
